Students at the Albany School of Humanities sent Devil Dawg some fan mail, thanking him for his visit on August 4.
On Saturday, July 17 Devil Dawg was at the Saratoga Race Course for their annual Open House before the start of racing season. To start the races right, mascots of the Capital Region were on hand for a mascot race for themselves. Devil Dawg crossed the finish line with the middle of the pack while his friend Puck from RPI was the first place winner.
Devil Dawg supported runners of the Fifth Annual Team Teagan 5k Benefit Run at Saratoga State Park on Saturday, July 9. The run was first started in 2007 to benefit now nine-year-old cancer survivor Teagan Klingenberg, with a different Honored Hero each year since. This year Teagan’s family along with the help of event director Jackie Scotti honored two fighters, Hannah Hughes and Kristen Shinebager.

Devil Dawg was among friends at Curtis Lumber’s 2nd Annual Pet-A-Palooza on Saturday, June 18. At 22 different Curtis Lumber locations, hundreds of animals from area shelters and rescue groups were up for adoption.

Welcome home Captain Kyle Morse of the U.S. Army. He spent time time in Iraq and Afghanistan and is a Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient.

Devil Dawg hops on the bike at the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure in Saratoga (06.05.2011)

It’s not always easy being a big red dog during the hot months of spring/summer. But when your Devil Dawg and you bring joy to the masses, it’s not so bad. June 5 is going to be known as “Devil Dawg’s Super Sunday.” The most lovable and recognizable mascot in the AHL will be all over the Capital Region, making five appearances and he is giving you a chance to win prizes.
It’s very simple.
Here is Devil Dawg’s schedule:
5:00 am: Tour de Cure (Saratoga Springs High School)
9:00 am: Cantina Kids Fun Run (Saratoga Springs)
12:00 pm: Walk for Friendship (Elm Park, Delmar)
1:30 pm: Cancer Survivors Day (Albany Medical Center)
2:30 pm: Children’s Hospital Telethon (Albany Medical Center)

Devil Dawg put on his running shoes on May 1 for the 10th Annual Literacy Run/Walk in support of the Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County. More than 350 people participated to help raise money and awareness for adult and children literacy programs across the Capital District.

The most recognizable and lovable mascot in the AHL, Devil Dawg, will be on the move Saturday, Apr. 16 has he will be visiting five different YMCAs around the Capital Region to participate in Healthy Kids Day.
But first his day will begin at the Colonie Little League Parade from 9 am to 10 am. From there it’s of the the Ys.

Guilderland YMCA - 11 am
Glenville YMCA - 12 pm
Troy YMCA - 1:15 pm
East Greenbush YMCA - 2:30 pm
